All sorts of music genre?

I like all sorts of music genre, I really do. I listen to all sorts, yes.

Lets start with Incubus, know them?
D'uh!
Do you know who Jason Mraz is?
Of course
What about Jamie Cullum?
Yesh
Bet you don't now who Jeff Buckley is!
He's the one who made Hallelujah famous...
Who is Curumin then?
Latin based genre
Habib Koité?
Malian guitarist
Coleman Hawkins?
Pure Jazz
Sebastian Bach?
Composer, famous for Minuet in G

But do you listen to the above?
Indeed

So, if you can't answer these questions, you do not listen to ALL sorts of music genres, and these are barely even ALL sorts of music genres.
Notice when people go "I listen to all sorts of music", but then adds a "B-U-T" after it?
The "BUT" = no you don't listen to all sorts of music...
Especially Jazz...Theres no way you can hate/dislike/despise Jazz, it's the source of where different genres all started from...
So Think Twice before making a statement that you like all sorts of music!

Triathlon Hash Run 030508

- The most gruesome one I've ever been
- Involves Mountain Biking, Trial Hashing, and River Swimming.

Routes are always situated on the outskirts of KL (I don't think I see a big piece of green lung in KL) and yes, as mentioned, the most gruesome one I've ever been. The previous run 030508 got me all bruised and swelled and let me put this in equations:

"No Helmet = The Utterly Dumb Ass Decision"

You might think I don't wear helmets, think again as I resolute the above equation!

Run 030508 was at Semenyih, having the beautiful panoramic scenery from the upper most of the hashing hill. Starting of the morning with mountain biking as the first in the triathlon hash. Trust me, you can never get out of the jungle without your fellow hashers and/or a GPS navigation device which I smartly packed before the embark to the hash spot.

I've heard of many stories about DHARMA initiative (not to be talking too much about religion based now, I'm a free-thinker =D)...
- Pretty much everything weird in the jungle: Physics could make everyone see things that aren't there
- The whispers in the jungle: The sounds survivors hear in the jungle may not be the whispers of the physically-present Others. They may be the voices of physics who aren't even in the jungle

Also the mysterious so-called repetition of route in the jungle...and the fork on the road?

But forget that, leave that aside, cause you're there to experience the adrenaline.

Along the route, I encounter snakes, eagles, dead scorpions and cigarette buds? If you so happen to come across a black snake with mountain bike tyre tracks on it, please send me apologies =D

On-On!

Medical Signatures

Watched once-ABC-hit-show "Brian's Song"? Heart dropping huh?

The film recalls the details of the life of Brian Piccolo, a football fanatic/player stricken with terminal cancer.

Terminal cancer, terminal cancer, eesh, doesn't sound that scary without cancer. When an illness - like cancer - is terminal, it means that it is permanent and will remain until death. (A.K.A End of Life care situation)

Cancer tumors and/or cancer cells at a part of a body to another spreading while the other is cured, going through uncountable numbers of surgery and Chemotherapy.

Somehow I still don't get how chemotherapy is performed, medicine based? or physical based? All I know is that, it kill cells, by a huge amount and the side effects of it are just threatening.

Couple Dead At Home

Being a very blur person personally I DID NOT KNOW that there was a suicide on the same road of which my house is located!

5th April, Yudishtra's Birthday:
I came directly from music college lecture, passing through the row of house where I then saw a couple of police cars and a shocked teenager, like, really shocked. Didn't know what was happening at first, didn't bother stopping, I was in a hurry.

I only know of this story when the topic was brought up by my neighbour. A 50 year old local woman was found hanged in the second floor bathroom of the three-storey terrace house while her 55 year old husband was found on the floor of another bathroom on the third floor. They were believed to be tuition teachers.

A 13-year old girl, whom I saw shocked, gone to their house for a regular tuition class at 3pm on that day found the house doors unlocked and walked into the premises.

Failing to get a response from the couple after calling out their names several times, she decided to look for them.

She found a woman hanging by a piece of cloth from the ceiling of the bathroom and informed the couple's neighbour.

Police later found the man with strangulation marks on the neck.

City police chief Senior Assistant Commander II Ku Chin Wah said police believed that the woman had found her husband 24 hours after he had hanged himself and brought him down before hanging herself.

"We have not found any elements of foul play," he said, adding that two notes, one written in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese were found. He declined to reveal the contents of the notes.

Their bodies were sent to the University Malaya Medical Centre for a post-mortem.

The Internet

I'll rant, and I'm starting now!
ISP providers offering Unlimited? PURE BULLSHIT! It's an advertisement, HELLO?!

You come home from work - to pay up your Internet Broadband Bills and everything else. You soon lie on your couch with your laptop with you, conveniently starting up "Deluge" (Torrent Client), enjoying down speeds up to 145 kbps. Few days later, you realize down speeds drastically reduced to 7 kbps and even a miraculous 0.1 kbps. You search the web for EVERY solution you can find, but only finding out you're paying your ISP Providers a month of satisfying dinners you can't even afford every week:

1) Explanation:
Your ISP Provider throttles your Bandwidth usage allowance down, drastically "chopping" the speed of downs and ups (so much for "unlimited").
Your ISP Provider detects a TCP 68** Port being used (These are ports normally used by Torrent Clients), therefore throttling your bandwidth allowance down yet again.
Your ISP Provider is a dickhead
Your ISP Provider are capping your P2P Traffics from International Sites (Try downloading something with local seeders, you can reach up to speeds of 214 kbps!)

2) Solution:
Get a VPN server, these are capping-free ISPs. Make sure you get it from a reliable source, some just runs away not having the knowledge of handling a server
Use TCP ports 54000 - 60000, these are ports where ISP providers don't expect Torrent Gateways to be formed. (Torrent Clients only use TCP ports)
If your ISP Provider's a dickhead, I can't help you...=D

And if you wanna risk: Use TCP port 80 (World Wide Web HTTP), TCP port 110 (Post Office Protocol) or TCP ports 20 & 21 (FTP Servers) and I will say this again, only try this if you wanna take the risk. (These are ports governed by your ISPs, not expecting Torrent Clients to go through these ports, as these ports are at MAX speed for WWW HTTP reasons)

So enjoy your capped Broadband, cause I really don't think this is what the "Internet" should be. ISPs aren't suppose to cap or throttle our bandwidths (our money man!).
