180310 Life - Morning Update

I'm gonna update on every course of the day for today, so you'd know what I'm doing. You don't get this often, so treasure it while you can - and see where my adventures can lead you to...(or tempt you). I'm hoping other bloggers reading this can follow suit only for the day (or whenever you feel like continuing). Also, follow me on twitter to see my live updates on my whereabouts.

Ikea

I don't quite like shopping. Not when I'm in regular shopping malls.

Ikea, on the other hand, is not regular. Ikea is not a shopping mall. No, I wasn't there to buy household furnitures (why, technically utensils).

So if you're ever dropping by Ikea anytime soon, you can give this Howie Experience Certified and Quality Place To Be Assurance Package™a test drive (only when you wanna rejoice with your childhood, please I do not assure physical or mental damage to full grown adults having the ego.)

--> You'll first enter Ikea and be overwhelmed with the smell of wood, good smelling wood. Proceed to the entrance of the first furnishing department. Walk through each department and sit on each and every chair, bed, soft toy there is. At the end of section 1 of Ikea, have yourself some feast for your appetite with Swedish Meatballs or Poached Salmon. Proceed to section 2, and start getting curious. Get what you need, and bang on every pot and pan to test its acoustics durability if you're stomping anytime soon. Pay at the cashier and don't get yourself a plastic bag, instead carry your furniture around with the Ikea sticker on it. Get yourself Ice Cream, Curry Puffs and a soft drink. Get your ass back home.

Unanswered Thoughts.

It's when you sometimes go in depth with yourself and just get this random thought you just can't seem to answer - yet curiosity denies rejection.

Maybe it's just me, or maybe it's everyone, probably we're all afraid to ask, afraid to deem our partly unknowledgeable self, but I don't care, I mean, the more I ask the more I get, ayh?

Bare with my stringent and unorganized thoughts. First, let me just clear the air, this is not meant to question, insult and bring down the morality of anyone

At this stage, we ourselves can't say for a fact that we've indeed "witnessed" how Earth was even being made, let alone ourselves. Without the existence of Science and Religion, would this question even exist in the first place? Yes, out of human curiosity, it is bound to pop out of nowhere - but how would we answer it? Without the Big Bang theory or God.

Why is a machine made to work in that sense, why not the other? If, in the absence of positivity or negativity.

Why is good not bad, and bad not good in the first place? Cue: "...in the first place"

Overpopulation? Why can't we just balance the existence of Earth into a single population rather than countries? I'm not looking for a political answer, because it's just plain bullshit.

There are more to come, but with these few questions, it could terminate my boredom while in the LRT with nothing or no one else.

The Haka Simplified

Decent yet scary stuff. The Haka will be seen as something really beautiful if done together in unison.

Battalions and/or house/uniform bodies who've worked around with The Haka today will find this useful - bare in mind, this is the simplified version of The Haka that we're doing, just for time and learning sake (and teachers).

Simplicity at it's best.

Those little things we were told - but just never seems to get registered into our *cricket sounding* mass capacity brains. To not run across the road - we still do it at times. Mean what we say - we only say what we mean now huh?

...and come on, this is probably repeated indirectly almost EVERY time we are out having what was once something fun. SPORTS-MAN-SHIP

Competition is healthy, but to mean what we say - healthy competition is good for us. It gives us that edge to push and progress. With just too much of it, it just works the opposite way.

Just please, sports day is around the corner. If you really wanna know how good you are, and where you stand - you don't have to devise a plan to break someone's leg; you don't have to go up to your opponents to taunt them - people only do that when they're having more of the taunt themselves; neither do you have to overwhelm yourself with so much confidence - it's just a feast, yes a feast, not just a meal - for defeat; you don't have to isolate your friends just because they are the "opponents" - it only lasts for that few hours of the game, what about after that?

Accept defeat as it is, and use it as a guide to where you stand. Accept victory as it is, but victory only lasts till the next rematch.

Having a team behind you is probably the best thing that will happen. If we all isolate ourselves to an individualistic competition, who's gonna share our "sole" victory?

Picture a friendly match (and may I stress on this again, meaning what we say - FRIENDLY match) of virtually any sport. It just blocks out so much,
(1 - for the guys) being so nervous because you "cannot afford to lose to your opponent"?
(2 - for the girls) having show the supposed "angry face" so much, that you instantly become old and wrinkly
(3 - for all) We can all just go out for some nice teh tarik after that without ranting while eating that awesome roti canai you have in front.

I JUST WANNA RUN.
