The unqualified minor who got something better...

I didn't qualify for X Games Bouldering...(damn)

...but I've got something much better...

"Summit For Someone" climbs benefit at-risk youth. Climb features at Mt. Whitney - at 14, 497 feet, Mt. Whitney is the highest peak in the lower 49 states. It is also one of the most sought-after mountains in North America.

The Mountaineer's Route on Mt. Whitney offers an opportunity for a climb up slopes that range from 25, 40 degrees. During the summer, the approach includes pine trees, boulders, granite slabs, high-alpine meadows, and lakes. The climb is over trails and rock, and the last 400 feet has a few hands and feet moves on rock, but the terrain is not considered technical in nature.

The climb starts 8th November till the 10th of the same month. Yet also the Squamish Mountain Festival 2008 from July 16th to the 20th in BC, Canada.

There's never an excuse to pull out from these 2 events! What happens next Saturday is no more "Hello Dubai", yet it isn't something I want to miss. The Bukit Nyamuk (Mosquito Mountain as directly translated) ascend for training. Hello rock climbing months!

In addition to that, Ash Li, that loving sister of mine, had to surprise me with a brand new harness after knowing that my old one is no more secure, kudos to all of em who were involved in the effort too, Thanks!

More of xzibeng to come this weekend, prior to the here in my home project, we'll just see how things turn out.
