The "thisensuresidon'tgetfiredbyeveryoneeverywherejustbecausei'mcurious" Disclaimer: I just want to know what makes a skirt something so different from regular pants apart from it's design and it's absence of 2 'tubes'. So if you can tell me, I'm all ears! This post is draggy, because I'm trying to put in the right words for it.

Again Howie, how did you come up with this junk?
I was at lunch today with a couple of friends @ 1 Utama after orchestral practice. Knowing the norm of all girls, shopping centre = shops (d'uh) = clothes (oh no) = trying out (yikes) = 1 hour (damn), but above all, I'm fine with it.
As I settle on a nearest bench outside to allow my body to digest the whole cow I ate for lunch and yes, my imagination, once again, went wild (come on, that's not what I was thinking about) - coming up with a theory on the existence of skirts.
Here goes. Ever come to think that skirts, are just regular pants, without tubes (or something else they might call it elsewhere)? Yes true, they look more female-like now but it's because of it evolving as a female outfit. Yes, you tell them apart from a female wearing a skirt and a male wearing pants. But apart from that, the invention of skirts?
Hey it could be some dude named "Thompson McSkirt" or "Skirt Lee Ha Ha". He was ever so careful on slipping his legs in to his pants into the right tube - I mean, he couldn't jump in his pants, to prevent from ripping his pants into half as he steps on the centre piece; neither could he just slip it on without first determining the centre piece.
For an average of 365 1/4 days in a year, for 35 years of his life ever since he knew how to wear pants, he had been this cautious. He was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and times were harsh those days, he could not afford to buy pants, eventho they were ripped from tube up.
So to save the embarrassment of running around with ripped pants, he was very very cautious. Yes you guys get the point. He got lazy eventually, and decided to rip the centre piece away, sewing together the 2 tubes for very obvious reasons.
That went global. Benefits added made his life so much easier, he could jump into them and not worry about ripping it into half. He could change his pair of "pants" before anyone could shout "naked" out loud. and NO, this was not why Irish men wear skirts now. Fyi, those are not skirts!
That lasted for a mere 1 month? I'm gonna state obvious reasons - (1) He found there was too much aeration circulating his manhood (2) He finds it too revealing of his manhood without additional layer of uhm, underwear. (3) Freedom was not on his side, whenever he jumped, the skirt would "fly" only to...(refer to reason #2) (4) Maybe they just didn't look convincing enough.
Enuff said, again, I'm not saying they don't go on girls as well because of the above reason please refer to the disclaimer yet again. I guess he abandoned it and it got picked up by some popular fashion designer only to evolve to female clothing for obvious reasons yet again?
"Thompson McSkirt" or "Skirt Lee Ha Ha" might be one of your contributors to the invention of skirts, how would I know, I'm theorising. It was well worth it bar none.
