Beijing 2008 Closing Ceremony

There's no doubt that the Opening Ceremony was indeed much much better than the closing, but isn't that the norm? =D

Side story, look at the amount of volunteers/dancers/officers/etc that were involved in the event, from the opening till the closings. Probably the only Olympiad Ceremony to have that much manpower involved. Feeling proud to be a Chinese babe! Jealous? I kid, I kid.

They gave us false hope that Celine Dion was gonna be there, looks like she magically disappeared. Comparison between the London 2012's performance and Beijing 2008's performance was very noticeable.

China's One Wheeled Bike                 v.s.
 London's Double Decker

The official Olympic Flag and NOC/Host Country China's Flag

Amongst the few volunteers and athletes that were involved

Olympic President Jacques Rogge

Leona Lewis at her best
Also Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin
(Compare him to Badawi, you'd see the similarity, except Jimmy Page is so much cooler, Badawi *chokes* )
And this extinguishing of the Beijing 2008's Holy Flame in it's Cauldron

The extinguishing of the holy flame was by 3 athletes - probably from the Great Britains, opening the traditional Chinese scroll whist the timeline of the Beijing 2008's events are played through the upper ring of the Bird's Nest.

David Beckham's entry certainly wowed some of his fans.

Also the umbrella's from London's 2012's representative's performance, and they can only mean one thing...

The inner quote (As what I think):
"Bring your own typhoon resistance umbrellas, my chinese friends. Our London cries very unexpectedly."

=D

Olympic fever cured, shall countdown for the

- Singapore 2010 Youth Sumer Games (536 days to go approx)
