Introducing iTunes 8, just launched yesterday @ Apple's Let's Rock Special Event.
Recorded Keynote @ Apple's QTV Streaming Site or download as Keynote Podcast in iTunes
It's nifty new and handy feature is probably Genius.
Upon your launch of iTunes, you'd see an additional tab on your playlists.
By allowing it to access and manage your music,
you'd be able to create playlists of musics that go well with each other. Not quite sure it's done (Artist? Genre? BPM?), but it's pretty accurate.
Listen to a song, then click on the genius button on the bottom right to create a playlist of songs that are similar to that you are listen to currently. All this happens in less than a blink of an eye. Don't like the playlist? Refresh it for the next selections. Good news is, the more you use Genius, the more it gets better at it's work. Set it's limit and you'd have a party shuffle that does not change from Trash Metal to Classical all of a sudden.
Also, a handy tool "Show Duplicates", tho I'd prefer iTunes to auto-eliminate duplicates with permission, this is good enough.
Summed up, go get your iTunes 8 now! Ps: It also comes with an additional view
